Hello Lovely people and thank you for coming over to our blog! 

Our blog will give you a lot more information about who we are, why we are who we are, and what we are actually doing (inside info to what actually goes on at board meetings!).

It’ll have regular updates about what the Andy’s beat team are doing behind the scenes, and what events we have up and coming!

We want this to be a space of inspiration, motivation and change. We will share in turn what has inspired us and hope you’ll do the same as we want it to be a space of communication between us and you, if you’ve got encouragement or ideas then let us know in the comment space beneath each post!

We are passionate about bringing about change, and making a difference, all of us on the team have an abundance of enthusiasm for our cause!! And who knows if some words on a blog can help us do that but we want to try! We want to share stories of inspiration in hope that you too will be inspired.

“If your dreams don’t scare you they’re not big enough”

6 months ago myself (Megan) and our Managing Director, and the best big sister Debbie sat in my room chatting, talking about how desperate we were to take action, to make a change, I had a small notebook and inside we wrote down huge ideas and huge plans ones I don’t think we even believed could ever be anything more than just that…ideas. Talk of having our own charity was merely chit chat we didn’t believe we could do it, we didn’t know how. And that in an essence is our first inspirational story; because you reading this post is proof that we did it. The informal chat in my room, where we dreamed of making a change turned into Debbie doing some research (actually rather a lot of it!), which turned into her asking me to help which turned into her puling together a team which is now the Andy’s Beat foursome! She along with us helping, made the dream a reality. This charity is now a reality and we could not be more excited about it! That is our very first story, to uplift, and provoke some thoughts about real action….about taking your words and making them happen making your dreams a reality. We’re starting small but dreaming big and as I said if you dreams don’t scare you they’re not big enough! Starting a charity was immensely scary at first, none of knew where to start but slowly bit my bit piece by piece its come together, the huge idea became manageable challenges until we got to this place today where I am here typing this post to you!
